It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Come celebrate the holiday season once again this year in the friendly Town of Esopus on Saturday, December 7th. We’ll be featuring two exciting events that we’re certain you won’t want to miss!

Town of Esopus Holiday Tugboat Trail

The Esopus Economic Development Committee is excited to present the “Esopus Holiday Tugboat Trail,” a special event that brings the holiday spirit to our community and celebrates our local businesses.

On December 7, 2024 (same Saturday as the parade), this event transforms Esopus into a festive wonderland where local businesses become hubs of holiday cheer. Each participating business will host its own set of delightful activities, ranging from craft-making workshops to delicious tastings, and engaging demonstrations.

To guide visitors’ journeys through this merry trail, we provide a handy flier distributed around town, complete with a map indicating all participating locations. A charming Tugboat sign will be provided to all participating businesses to display outside—these are your landmarks on the Esopus Holiday Tugboat Trail.

There is no cost to participate! If you are a business located in Esopus and are interested in participating, please fill out the following form. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Marjorie McCord at (845) 702-9958 or marjorie.mccord@gmail.com.

This event is being held in memory of Diane McCord.
