Notice of Public Hearing (Rescheduled from May 16)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to Article IX, Section §123-46B(3) and (4) of the Esopus Town Code, the Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 7:35 p.m. Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Way, Ulster Park, N.Y. for the purpose of considering the application of Hopf Realty LLC by Agent Matthew Town, P.E. for a proposed site plan/special use permit.

Proposal is to utilize an 88-acre parcel to host wedding events. Existing home and cottage are proposed to be utilized by bridal party during events with weddings to take place in a temporary tent, with temporary catering and restroom facilities. Subject parcel is located at 611-621 Route 32, (accessed from Kellar Lane), Town of Esopus, New York, identified as Tax Map No. 70.4-1-15 in the R40 Zoning District.

All parties of interest and citizens will be given an opportunity to be heard in respect to such application. Written comment may also be submitted by e-mail to planning-zoning@esopus.com, provided verbally during the meeting or submitted in writing to the Esopus Planning Board, PO Box 700, Port Ewen, NY 12466.

The application is on file in the Planning Board office for inspection by any interested party.
