Esopus residents,
In light of receding numbers of positive COVID-19 cases and increasing numbers of vaccinated residents in Ulster County,
Town Hall will be open to the public during regular operational hours (9 AM to 4 PM)
Monday through Friday beginning Monday, May 24.
Following the Governor’s adoption of new CDC regulations as of Wednesday, May 19, Esopus Town Hall will also no longer require vaccinated persons to wear masks indoors. Vaccinated and non-vaccinated persons are still encouraged to wear masks indoors, however, if they feel uncomfortable.
As a result of changes in Town Hall due to the pandemic, the following rules are effective immediately:
- Payments, forms and other documents may continue to be deposited thru the drop-box outside Esopus Town Hall indefinitely.
- Due to continued contact tracing measures established to prevent event an outbreak of COVID-19, residents will be required to sign-in and self-report temperature, time/date and (optionally) vaccination status upon entry to Town Hall.
Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to seeing you in-person soon.
– Jared Geuss, Town Supervisor
